Mr. Alan Kells a farmer and self-catering accommodation provider from Castlehamilton, Killeshandra, County Cavan received funding through the Rural Development Programme towards the purchase of 5 new angling boats. Mr. Kells has been proactively marketing his self-catering cottages as a high standard angling destination to the continental market.

This angling tourism enterprise is continuing to invest in the sector and is attracting increasing numbers of anglers to County Cavan.
