Researching and Writing of Local History Course

Cavan-Monaghan LEADER is organising the 'Researching and Writing of Local History Course' to be delivered over eight evening sessions and one Saturday session from mid-February 2012 onwards.

The main aim of this non-accreditated course will be to develop the skills and expertise of people who have a particular interest in researching and writing local history. The training course will offer participants the opportunity to enhance their own personal development and as a possible path to future study.

No location has been selected for this course as locations will be choosen to suit the majority of applicants. In order to minimise the travel distance and if numbers permit, one course will be based in Cavan and one course will be based in Monaghan.
