If YES, then you will be interested in finding out more about funding opportunities available through the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 (LEADER) which is administered by Cavan-Monaghan LEADER.

Cavan-Monaghan LEADER has provided funding assistance to a number of festival groups over the last two years including; Clones & Castleblayney in County Monaghan and Bailieborough & Maudabawn in County Cavan. These have become examples of best practice nationally both in terms of both the group festival approach and 'value for money' for the funding measure. Cavan-Monaghan LEADER invites you to attend a public information evening for Festival Committees which will be held on Tuesday 31st January at 7.30pm in the Blackwater Valley Learning Centre, Knockconan, Emyvale (near St. Mellan’s GAA Grounds) Co Monaghan.

This festival funding information evening will;
• provide festival groups with information about funding available through the Rural Development Programme
• include a presentation by Castleblayney Festival Group about their experience of establishing the festival group & managing the funding process
• support and guidance in preparing your application for funding
• meet & share ideas with other festival committees
