Marketing Video Production & Editing Training Module
THIS COURSE is now FULL and no further places are available as the course was overscribed (updated 19 January 2012)The primary output of this course is to enable small to medium enterprises to upload good quality video/audio/images on to their own websites, blogs, social media and any other format which assists them in reaching their target markets. The course will necessitate that participants will shoot their own video footage (in their own time) and bring it back to the class for work.
This course will commence on 23rd January 2012 and will be based in the Information Communication Training room of the Blackwater Valley Learning Centre, in Errigal-Truagh in Co Monaghan (North of Emyvale).
The course will be delivered over 6 Mondays between 9.30am and 4.00pm each day.
The course will be hands and the objectives are that participants ‘at the end of this course will be able to do the following...’
1) record moving images from handheld recording devices
2) edit pictures, audio and video clips in a professional manner
3) add audio/text to clips
4) upload clips to some or all of the following online platforms; facebook, blogs, vimeo, youtube, business websites etc
5) participants will have shared space on facebook and/or an online training website where their course clips and work will be found
6) tag & promote video to reach target market by using social media and other tools
During the course participants will be provided with a review of available recording hardware (moving images) and how to make best use of clips on websites/blogs. This bespoke training will be delivered by Input Media who has significant experience in delivering training of this nature. You don't have to take our word for it, check out this video made by participants of the last course.
Participants
Course participants will ideally have experience of using online tools to promote their business and particularly have engaged with online social networks. Each participant will have their own website and use one or two of the various social media / blog platforms. As a minimum, the participants will have completed some elements of ICT training course in last couple of years. The participants will primarily come from handcrafts and tourism sector and other small to medium enterprises are welcome. A deposit of €100 will be required to secure your place and will be reimbursed upon completion of the training.
